A few short words about me:

My name is Juliana Halvorson. I am 38 years old and I live in Roswell, New Mexico. I am very happily married to a wonderful man (John) and we have two beautiful girls. The first born is Shilo. She is now 12 years old and extremely independent. She is a wonderful big sister to Shelby, now 7 years old.

I grew up in a Scouting family. I have four brothers and two sisters. My mother was always my Troop Leader and my dad was my brother's Scoutmaster. I was in Girl Scouting from Brownies through Cadettes. I was an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop #2 from 1987 - 1990 (my husband was the Scoutmaster) We had 60 registered members then. I was also a Beaver at Woodbadge SC-364 and one of the first women Ordeal's in the Kwahadi Lodge.  But, since I was pregnant, we both retired from being troop leaders to become parents. Since we had a daughter, I became active in Girl Scouting again in 1996 to become my daughter's Daisy Leader. We bridged to become Brownies in May of 1997. You can learn more about our troop by visiting our home page -
 Girl Scout Troop #6.

My husband is an Eagle Scout and he is still involved in Boy Scouts. He is the District Advancement Chairman for the Rio Hondo District of the Conquistador Council. He is also an Assistant Course Director for Woodbadge Training in Philmont and in Hobbs, New Mexico.  You can visit his Woodbadge page at http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/Rapids/7816/.

I have created this web page because I noticed a huge lack of quality computer graphics for Girl Scouts on the web. I really enjoy what I do, but since it uses my free time (of which I have none of), I am not able to do even a tenth of the graphics that I would like to - but I try.
